Chad Johnson on Media Strike After Stern Warning on Hard Knocks

Chad gave a pretty entertaining first press conference with Dolphins reporters, but it was filled with a lot of expletives and mentioning of porn.

Coach Philbin wasn’t too pleased by it and made his feelings to Chad and the world known on HBO Hard Knocks. In essence he told Chad to cut it out or he would be cut.

So, the man formerly named Ocho has gone silent.

Always talkative Chad Johnson doesn’t want to talk anymore — to reporters, at least.

After receiving a stern warning on Tuesday from new Miami Dolphins coach Joe Philbin for his outspoken manner and penchant for profanity, Johnson walked past reporters saying only, “I don’t do media anymore,” according to a report in The Miami Herald.

“Time will tell,” Philbin responded when asked whether Johnson has gotten the message. “I expressed to Chad that you’re in a position to influence people. Use it as a positive.

“There’s a right way to kind of represent this organization and yourself, and a way that’s not going to be us,” he added.

  1. Coach is doing him a favor. Apparently, he still has the mind of a child.
