ESPN.com is reporting that Cleveland Cavaliers star point guard Kyrie Irving will continue to play despite having his jaw fractured after falling during Friday nights loss to Milwaukee.
Irving did not travel with the Cavs Friday night, but will play Saturday against the Knicks with a special mask on. Irving was knocked down by Bucks forward forward Luc Mbah a Moute, who was called for a foul. Irving’s face slammed into the floor.
Irving remained in the game and even made two free throws.
