Patriots Derrick Martin’s Home Robbed During AFC Championship Game

Patriots Derrick Martin

No one knows if this was just a coincidence or it was a planned home invasion because they knew Martin wouldn’t be around. Either way Martin took a Double L on Sunday.

While the game was being played, his Aurora, Colo., home was robbed and ransacked while at least one adult and multiple children were in the house, according to The Denver Post.

“We don’t know if he was specifically targeted or not,” Frank Fania of the Aurora Police Department said of Martin. “There was nothing said during the robbery that would indicate that.”

No one was harmed, but the robbers were armed.

“No shots were fired, no threats were made,” Fania said. “Thankfully no one was hurt.”

I might have been watching too much Discovery ID, but that sounds like an inside job to me.  It was a little too random to be random if you know what I mean.

Glad no one was hurt, especially since there were children in the home. That has to be a very traumatic experience.
