I am proud to announce that BlackSportsOnline has entered into a Partnership with Fox Sports and Yardbarker.com.
Yardbarker is a sports site where everyone’s an insider. Sports fans, bloggers, and professional athletes all hang out in the Yard to read and discuss sports articles, view the latest sports photos and videos, debate and interact with each other, and much more.
Yardbarker was acquired Fox Sports Interactive Media in 2010 making it one of the largest blog networks in the country.
I will be forever grateful for my time USA Today Sports (Formerly Big Lead Sports). The experience that I gained while being in their network is something that has helped propelled BSO to what it is today.
Two years ago I was unsure how BSO would sustain itself as an independent entity, but I knew it was time to take the steps necessary to make sure this was something that wasn’t just a hobby, but a career.
Two years later my confidence in the BSO brand has never been higher. I believe with this latest move the sky is the limit and the best is to come from BlackSportsOnline.
Be sure to check out Yardbarker.com, FoxSports.com and MSN.com for not just articles from BlackSportsOnline, but articles from some of the most innovative and groundbreaking online media sites around (Cosbysweaters.com, JocksandStilettoJill.com, LosThatSportsBlog.com, ProFootballZone.com just to name a few).
Two of my staff’s excellent sites ThaCover2.com (by Glen Erby) and Wordonthegame.com (by Phillip Jackson) will also be moving over to the Yardbarker Network.
I couldn’t be more proud of them. BSO has always been about cultivating talent so they could eventually stand out and make a name for themselves. We are about positivity and helping people move up that ladder, not holding them down.
Just like in society the minorities (sports blogs) are becoming the majority and Yardbaker.com and FoxSports.com are dedicated to getting these fresh innovative voices heard by the masses.
I look forward to continue to provide you with unique content that has been a staple of BSO.
Thank you for your support as always.
