This is sort of like when Pacman Jones wanted to be called “Adam”.

Some people will respect Tyrann’s requests, others will just ignore it. I get what he is trying to do, he needs to clean up his image as much as possible before the draft.

Tyrann Mathieu is no longer the “Honey Badger,” just a former college football player hoping to get a shot at the NFL.

“I think at LSU, the Honey Badger (person) came to an abrupt end,” Mathieu said Monday while watching some of his former teammates practice for this week’s Senior Bowl. “I definitely want to do it the right way this time.”

Opinions vary on where he will end up, but what I have learned is if you run really fast and jump really high, you will get picked, so his personal workouts will be vital.
