Indianapolis Colts backup tight end Weslye Saunders has been suspended for the first 8 games of the 2013 NFL regular season after violating the leagues performance enhancing drug for the second time in less than a year.
Pro Football Talk is reporting that Saunders is eligible to participate in training camp and the preseason games. After the final preseason game, he’ll have to go away until November 4th.
The blocking tight end appeared in six games for the Colts and caught two passes for 15 yards.
Saunders previous offense was for Adderall, as Saunders said it help him focus when drowsy.
