In a bizarre turn of events, Pastor John-Paul Miller’s wife, Mica Miller, made a chilling discovery – a tracking device on her car. The plot thickened as her tires were mysteriously slashed not once, but twice in a single week before her untimely demise. The unsettling sequence of events has left many questioning the circumstances surrounding her tragic death.
As the investigation delves deeper into this puzzling case, dark secrets and unexpected twists emerge, painting a picture of intrigue and suspicion.
Miller‘s death was announced on April 28 by her husband, John-Paul Miller, a senior pastor at Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
He told his congregation she had died by suicide, and announced he would be taking a break for the foreseeable future.
Now, the church’s website has gone dark, and John-Paul has been let go from his position, according to a notice seen by ABC affiliate WPDE.
Miller’s body was found in Robeson County, North Carolina, about two hours east of Charlotte, and an hour and a half north of her home in Myrtle Beach.
Officials have yet to confirm Miller’s cause of death.
Police records have been uncovered which show Miller believed someone was watching or following her in the weeks leading up to her death.
In the early hours of March 11, Miller told police her tires had been slashed near Springmaid Pier in Myrtle Beach, a report seen by NBC affiliate WFLA reveals.
Later that day when she went to repair the tires, she called police again after a tracking device was found on her car.
Officials said a male suspect was involved in both cases, but did not release his identity.
Miller told police at the time it was the “second time a razor has deflated her tire in the last week,” according to the report.
Police confirmed there was a metal object protruding from her tire, and found it was a tire deflation device that can be purchased online.
Miller had an idea of who was “following or watching her,” and said he had a “history of similar actions against her.”
Officers didn’t have enough evidence to charge the suspect, who bothered Miller again just hours later, according to the report.
Later in the day on March 11, Miller went to a Honda dealership to repair her tire, and a tracking device was found.
She called cops for a second time to report harassment and said the suspect had bothered her at a gas station earlier that day.
Miller told police the suspect kept trying to speak with her despite her asking him to go away.
Once she brought out a phone to try and record him, he got in his car and sped away, the report states.
Speaking to an officer at the dealership, Miller said the suspect had used a no-callback number to try and get in touch with her.
According to the report, Miller was “afraid for her life.”
“She also advised she blocks his numbers and still gets calls and texts from him on other numbers,” the report stated.
No charges have been filed against John-Paul, and he hasn’t been named as a person of interest.
The pastor was captured on video cracking jokes just moments before he made the shock announcement and told the church not to discuss Miller’s death.
The tangled web surrounding Pastor John-Paul Miller’s wife, Mica Miller, it’s a whirlpool of mystery, deceit, and church drama. The discovery of the tracking device and the slashed tires painted a picture darker than a moonless night. But fear not, for the truth is a stubborn mule—it will eventually come out kicking!
