New court documents filed in a child support case involving Minnesota Timberwolves guard Anthony Edwards show the 24-year-old NBA star earning a gross monthly income of $3,364,911 while making roughly $12,500 per month in child support payments to one of the mothers of his children.

The filings, obtained by TMZ, list the monthly income of ex-partner Alexandria Desroches at approximately $1,016. Edwards and Desroches share a son, Amir, born in October 2023. The documents stem from ongoing legal proceedings between the two.

Edwards is simultaneously engaged in a separate child support and custody dispute with another ex, Ayesha Howard, the mother of his daughter Aubri’ Summer, born in late 2024. TMZ has reported that Edwards is battling two different mothers in court.

Baby Mamas Coordinate in Court

In April, court documents showed the two mothers coordinating to some degree. Ayesha Howard submitted a declaration from Alexandria Desroches in her own case. In it, Desroches stated that Edwards had been making voluntary monthly child support payments to her via wire transfer from a Beverly Hills bank account. Howard’s legal team used the statement while arguing jurisdiction and financial ties to California.

Edwards has pushed for the cases to be handled in Georgia, while the mothers have sought proceedings in California.

Multiple Children and Reported Baby Mamas

Public reports and court matters indicate Edwards has at least three children with three different women:

  • Son Amir with Alexandria Desroches (born October 2023)
  • Daughter Aubri’ with Ayesha Howard (born 2024)
  • Daughter Aislynn with girlfriend Shannon Jackson (born March 2024)

Some unconfirmed reports have referenced a possible fourth child. Edwards has not publicly detailed the full scope of his personal situation.

Age Disparity and Earlier Controversies

One of the more publicized disputes involves a significant age gap. Ayesha Howard is approximately 38 years old, roughly 14 years older than Edwards. Their legal back-and-forth has included fights over jurisdiction, support amounts, and Howard’s requests for additional one-time payments and other terms during negotiations.

Earlier reports and public discussion around their case included rumors of a large lump-sum child support payment covering 18 years. Howard addressed related rumors and “gold digger” accusations on social media, denying certain claims while the case remained active. Some coverage referenced concerns about the long-term sufficiency of fixed or lump-sum arrangements and the ability to seek adjustments if income changed.

Edwards’ representatives have described some demands as excessive and pushed back on jurisdiction and other filings.

Ongoing Legal Matters

The latest income disclosure comes as Edwards continues to play through injuries and a deep playoff run with the Timberwolves. The legal proceedings remain active in multiple states, with both mothers involved in efforts to establish or adjust support.

Edwards signed a five-year contract extension in 2023 worth up to $260 million. The court documents reference that deal in the context of his earnings.

No final resolutions in either major case have been reported as of the latest filings. Edwards has not issued a public statement on the most recent documents.
