The Milwaukee Bucks have the worst record in basketball and a great shot at securing the No.1 overall pick in the NBA Draft.
According to ESPN.com, if Milwaukee does secure the top pick, all signs point towards them selecting Kansas center Joel Embiid if he chooses to come out.
Bucks GM John Hammond will choose the player he thinks has the best chance of being a star. Right now it’s a three-man race, but sources indicate Hammond loves the skill, size and rapid progression of Joel Embiid. The Cameroon native is new to the game and has tremendous upside. Embiid can help the Bucks on both ends of the court, and while he recently told ESPN.com he might return to school, most feel that he’ll be in June’s draft.
Remember that mess I was talking about with Milwaukee.
The Bucks have already selected big men Larry Sanders and John Henson in previous drafts, and there’s no gurantee Embiid will be a sure thing either.
