When you already have three high paid wide receivers, there’s not usually room for a fourth anything. Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Philadelphia Eagles have released veteran receiver Jason Avant.

Avant was set to have a cap hit of nearly $4 million and had a $1 million roster bonus due in just under two weeks. He had 38 catches for 447 yards.
