Detroit Lions v Minnesota Vikings

Speaking of the Minnesota Vikings.

Jared Allen is out, and Everson Griffen will reap the benefits.

Ian Rapoport is reporting that the Vikings have re-signed the veteran defensive end to a huge deal.

Adam Schefter has confirmed the deal, and the numbers are big.

Griffen has spent his entire four-year career with the Vikings after being selected in the  fourth-round out of USC in 2010.

The veteran has 17.5 sacks over the past three seasons, including eight in 2012 and 5.5 last season.
