In the last five years LeBron James has won four MVP awards. With this season’s MVP obviously between him and Oklahoma City’s Kevin Durant, LeBron all but conceded the race to Durant.
Via Miami Herald:
“I think K.D. has had one heck of a season, and if he was rewarded with the MVP, it would be great,” James said. “It would be awesome for him, for his family. It would be a great thing for him. He has played MVP-type basketball.”
James also went on to say that KD has been the “most consistent” player in the league this season.
If numbers don’t lie then I would have to agree with LeBron. He is averaging 26.9 points and 6.9 rebounds per game to Durant’s 32 and 7.6. It’s time for Durant to finally come in first.
