Kemba Walker has missed 3 of 5 games recently with knee soreness. This has cause the Charlotte Hornets to send their point guard to New York to consult a specialist on what might be his meniscus. If Walker does require surgery he is looking at a six week recovery before he can return.

Kemba played in every Charlotte game his first two NBA seasons and last season he played in 73 of the 82 regular season games. Charlotte is current in the 8th spot in the Eastern Conference picture with Brooklyn a half game back.
