You can’t be throwing bricks are your girlfriend and knocking her out, that is just uncivilized. If this is true he deserves some time in jail.
A Reds minor-league prospect was arrested early Saturday morning in Glendale, Ariz., after he was accused of knocking his girlfriend unconscious with a giant rock, azcentral.com reported.
Tanner Rahier, 21, was charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and assault with intent to injure, according to police reports. He was later released.
Rahier told investigators he did not know the woman and didn’t throw rocks at her. However, police say he got into an argument with a bartender Pullano’s Pizza, refusing to pay his bill. To defuse the situation, Rahier’s girlfriend brought him outside the restaurant, where they began arguing.
Rahier started to throw rocks at his girlfriend, one of which hit her on the side of the head and caused her to lose consciousness, according to police reports. The rock was roughly 8 inches across.
Rahier ran from the police but was caught pretty quickly. He appeared to be drunk at the time (shocking I know).
He batted .238 last season in the minors, so he should concentrate on getting that up and not hitting his lady.
