Andre Iguodala won NBA Finals MVP, but that’s more about the team accomplishment, and the process that comes with the Warriors defeating the Cavaliers 4-2.
The MVP player of the finals, and on the planet is clearly LeBron James, and it’s not even close after a record-breaking NBA Finals, that saw James separate himself from so many others.
King James became the first player to lead a Finals in points, rebounds and assists – after averaging 35.8, 13.3 and 8.8 per game.
That’s right — James almost pulled off the dubious Oscar Robertson — in the NBA Final none the less. Besides James in 2012 and 2013 with the Heat, the last player to come close to that distinction, was Magic Johnson in 1987.
