As the King of the Dollarnaires it is my job to give you a heads up on these things.
I have done some digging and frankly you probably not going to like what I found out.
The fight is going to be at the T-Mobile Arena (they are working on a deal to move Ice Cube’s Big 3 championship to MGM Grand Arena).
If I was Ice Cube I’d have the Championship game around 3pm because it almost guarantees all the foot traffic around Vegas at that time will check it out.
But, back to Mayweather-McGregor, T-Mobile holds a little over 20k, so I am hearing just at face value it is going to cost you between $1000-1500 to just get in the door.
Big problem with face value is there won’t be a lot of tickets available to the public because the promoters, fighters, hotel and network will get many of them to put on the resale market.
Those tickets will likely start in the $3000 range to just get in the building with the average price closer to $6000.
As far as the PPV, you aren’t going to be paying your typical $59.99.
I am hearing it will likely be $99.99, but they might take a tad bit off it, so it doesn’t mirror the Mayweather-Pacquiao PPV, so it might end up at $89.99 or $94.99.
So, that will give you at least of a ballpark figure of what you are looking at. Official announcements should be coming sometime next week.
It won’t be a cluster you know what like Mayweather-Pacquiao, but it is going to be expense, so buy early if you can.
Also if you are flying into Vegas on a budget, I’d airBnB, stay at a hotel off the strip or rent out a timeshare to save you some dollars.
