True story: when I was at The Ohio State University I was taking an American History class my freshman year that I could care less about. I had a presentation on WWII that I had done absolutely no research for.
I was in a panic and was talking to an advisor of mine who simply told me:
“When speaking on any subject – even a subject you are familiar with – break it down in terms you have expert knowledge in and you will sound like you know what you are talking about.”
So I compared WWII to the Jets beating the Colts in Super Bowl III … and actually got a B on the presentation.
This has led to what I like to call:
“LittalSpeak”
It is a language that only I truly understand, and it comes so naturally sometimes I have to slow myself down or people won’t know what the hell I am talking about.
When I am on Twitter I use “LittalSpeak” a lot in describing what is going on in the world of sports and entertainment.
People wonder if I talk like that in real life (I do), but here is a unique opportunity to hear me speak on it.
I was invited on Real Talk Radio last night to break down some of the phrases I have been using over the years like “nohos,” “Flowerdudes,” & “Reggiewayning.” Also to talk about my general philosophies from the Book of NoHology.
I come on around the 10 min mark if you want to fast forward. It is a quick interview, but you can peer into the Mind of Littal just a little bit.
