I was a big hockey fan growing up (what you didn’t think black people could like hockey, shame on you). Like many youngsters Wayne Gretzky was my favorite player.
I actually still have a Gretzky LA Kings and Saint Louis Blues jersey somewhere in my storage space.
Simply put he is the greatest player of all time and if you never had a chance to watch him play in person you were missing out. Similar to Babe Ruth or Michael Jordan there will never be another Wayne Gretzky.
It doesn’t seem that long ago since he played, but to make all of us feel older he has a grown daughter who is an aspiring model named Paulina.
