Former NBA player and Sacramento Kings point guard Bobby Jackson will join the Kings coaching staff as an assistant coach once the lockout ends.
Jackson posted on his Twitter:
“What up tworld I have decided to join the Kings coaching staff as and Assistant Coach once the Lockout ends”
The team will officially announce Jackson’s promotion on Tuesday.
Assuming there is a slim chance of an NBA season, this is the perfect time for teams to make staff adjustments.
Bobby Jackson is a great addition to the coaching staff; Jackson played with the Sacramento Kings from 2000-2005 and again in the 2008-2009 season. He has also been working with the Kings organization as a team ambassador and a talent scout.
