Reports: Tentative Agreement Reached To End NBA Lockout, Season Starts on Dec 25th

Nothing is set in stone, but numerous reports are coming out that after a marathon labor negotiation session that a tentative agreement has been reached between the players and the owners.

If the deal is to be completed the season will start on December 25th and it would be a 66 game season.  The players would have to ratify the Union again and vote on the deal, so there is still a chance this could blow up, but things are looking very promising that the lockout will be over very soon.

Both David Stern and Billy Hunter spoke as if this is a done deal and only loose ends need to be tied up.

Consider this your first Christmas Gift.
