Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay has been cryptically excited over a major trade on Twitter the last few days. Rumors were circulating on who it was and today it was confirmed by Jay Glazer of FOX Sports that the big deal was for Miami Dolphins cornerback Vontae Davis.
For all who’ve been trying to find out Colts trade, I’m reporting the Colts have agreed to a trade for Fins CB Vontae Davis for 2nd rd pick

A second rounder is a steal for the Colts if Davis ever realizes his potential and stops being immature. The writing was on the wall when he lost his starting spot to free agent Richard Marshall. Then on HBO’s Hard Knocks we saw that he had reported to camp out of shape and tried to fake his way through it. He also had to use the bathroom during a 45 minute walkthrough that did not cause a very good impression with the new Dolphins coaching staff.
A second round pick could also be a steal for the Dolphins, except when you consider their track record of second round picks under Jeff Ireland.

Koa Misi
Philip Merling
Pat White
The jury is still out on Sean Smith, Daniel Thomas and Jonathan Martin.
According to Ben Volin of the Palm Beach Post, he saw Davis in the locker room an hour before the trade and Davis had no idea this was coming.
NFL is a cruel place sometimes.
