USA Today is reporting that criminal investigators have found no evidence of child pornography on the personal computer of embattled and suspended Minnesota State head coach Todd Hoffner.
As we previously reported Hoffner was suspended and escorted off the practice field after being charged with two child pornography counts.
Authorities were notified about Hoffner after three videos of his children were found on his work-issued cellphone when he took it to the university for service.
Hoffner has vehemently denied any wrong doing and stated simply that the videos were of his children acting silly after getting out the bath tub.
Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Capt. Rich Murry said Friday a search of computers taken from the Hoffner home found “no additional items that would be considered child pornography.” The information was being forwarded to the county attorney’s office.
Hoffner has been the head coach at Minnesota State, Mankato for five years.
