Ray Lewis Done For Season And Possibly Career With Torn Tricep

As we reported yesterday Baltimore Ravens Hall Of Fame linebacker Ray Lewis left yesterdays game against the Dallas Cowboys with an apparent arm injury.

Speculation was rampant throughout the night about the severity of the injury, and after a late afternoon MRI, NFL.com has confirmed via John Harbaugh that Lewis does indeed have a torn tricep and will miss the remainder of the season.

“… Ray has a triceps tear. A complete tear. So he’ll be out for the season. We just found that out in the last five minutes,” Harbaugh said.

Speculation has been rampant for weeks that this could indeed be his final season injured or not.

Lewis has a son who is a Senior in high school, and Lewis promised him he’d retire in order to watch him play.

We can only wait out the next few months and wait for Ray himself to make a statement.
