Per ESPN.com, 2013 Alabama commit Derrick Henry (Yulee HS, Florida) broke Ken Hall’s nearly 60 year-old national high school career rushing record when he reached 11,612 yards for his career in Friday night’s Yulee HS playoff game. Since Henry is 6’3” and 240lbs, you can expect plenty of comparisons to ex-Tennessee Titan and Ohio State great Eddie George. You can check out Henry out here:

Eddie George is not a bad comparison since Henry has an upright running style like George, but I think Henry’s combination of size and speed is reminiscent of Marcus Dupree of ESPN 30 for 30 fame. Looks like the Tide will continue to roll in 2013.
