Chip Kelly has the #4 pick in the upcoming NFL Draft and stud defensive end Dion Jordan will be sitting right there for Kelly to take if he chooses to.
Much has been made of Kelly bringing in former Duck Dennis Dixon who knows his system, and several former Oregon Coaches being on his staff.
Kelly feels that knowing those Oregon players can help in evaluations because he those them and their habits as players.
Still Kelly told the Philadelphia Inquirer, that he can be Objective in evaluating his former Oregon players as it translates to his current Philadelphia Eagles roster.
“I would think it would be an advantage, because we know them,” Kelly said last week. “I can tell you what they’re like on the field, I can tell you what they’re like off the field, I can tell you what they’re like in the meeting room.”
Kelly lets it be known that his main objective is winning regardless of who the player is. If Dion Jordan is available at 4 and he’s one of the best players on the Eagles board, knowing Jordan as a player has to be a plus for Kelly, right?
