Many experts have speculated for weeks if Pitt basketball coach Jamie Dixon would be interested in the Southern Cal job. After his teams dismal performance in their opening NCAA Tournament game, the speculation ratcheted up a notch.
We can now put the speculation to bed for at least a little bit of time. SI.com via Andy Katz is reporting that Dixon and Pitt have agreed to a contract extension through 2022.

Katz hinted that Dixon’s children are comfortable and have grown up at Pitt, and the chances of him leaving for the West Coast were very slim.
