While Yankees fans surely won’t be rejoicing over having a 2-4 record, they may just find solace in the fact struggling relief pitcher Joba Chamberlain has shaved his mustache.
The ‘stache’ become a punch line of its own, garnering more quizzical looks than laughs. But now it’s gone. Yankees writer for MLB.com Bryan Hoche (@ByranHoche) tweeted the following:
Joba Chamberlain has shaved his mustache. He said, "It wasn't doing us any good."

Chamberlain has an ERA over 20 in two games he’s pitched in, so yeah, good move.
