LSU Cornerback Tharold Simon is expecting to hear his named called at some point during the NFL Draft. Simon may have made that wait a little longer with his actions on Thursday.
Pro Football Talk is reporting that Simon was arrested in Eunice, Louisiana and charged with public intimidation, resisting an officer and unnecessary noise violation.
Police allege that an officer asked Simon to move his car and Simon responded by telling the officer “I own Eunice” and “you are gonna be mine” before he eventually moved it.
The town of Eunice was in the process of celebrating Tharold Simon day when the altercation took place.
Simon is then accused of “backed the vehicle in an aggressive manner” and turned the radio up while moving his car. Simon then reportedly told the officer that the mayor of Eunice was on his side and that the officer would be fired for writing him a ticket.
Can’t explain what is in the Baton Rouge water that cause their defensive backs to make the decisions they do.
