If you thought you’d heard the last of Manny Ramirez, you were sadly mistaken.
Last month, we reported that Ramirez signed with the EDA Rhinos of the Chinese Professional Baseball League, due to a lack of offers in the Major Leagues. And as was the case in America, wherever the former Boston Red Sox slugger goes, he’s adored, even Taiwan.
According to Yahoo Sports, after two weeks, Ramirez finally hit his first home run of the season, and as you will see from the video, the reaction from the crowd and the Asian broadcasters, who did a hysterical bilingual home-run call, his status is near rock star levels.
