When most relationships go downhill, it is difficult to remain friends. The only time I really seen it work is with Elaine and Jerry on Seinfeld.
For a moment it looked like Evelyn and Chad were reunited, but that didn’t last very long and both have move on. Evelyn seems to be doing fine for himself, Chad not so much.
Just like in sports there are winners and losers in relationship breakups and it looks like Evelyn was the winner in this one, until Chad gets things in his life back in order.
