The Cleveland Browns have a new regime, and doing their best to try to change the perception of the franchise. The Browns now have Norv Turner at the helm as offensive coordinator, and with that, there should be an efficient offense to come with it.
Second year wide receiver Josh Gordon had a productive rookie season after being drafted in the 2012 Supplemental Draft posting numbers of 50 receptions for 805 yards and five touchdowns.
Gordon is ecstatic about his new offense, and told the Akron Beacon Journal that “the NFL will be shocked by the Browns air show.”
“Defenses will be shocked to say the least with how much we’re running downfield,” Gordon said. “I’ve never ran this much as a wide receiver ever in my life, and that’s a good thing. And not just me, everyone from the slot guys to running backs, everyone’s got passing plays in the system.”
It all sounds good, and with Turner calling the plays, they should definitely be efficient on offense, but the biggest question to be answered, is who will the quarterback be?
