The Billboards and begging may not be working for the L.A. Lakers, and they may want to try another option.
ESPN’s Chris Broussard is reporting from sources that Dwight Howard is unlikely to re-sign with the Lakers in free agency.
Sources: Dwight Howard unlikely to re-sign with the Lakers. Dallas and Houston the favorites. Main issue w/Lakers is Mike D'Antoni's system

The obvious issue for Dwight is Mike D’Antoni’s system, but there is a similar system being run in Houston also, so that will be an interesting dynamic in the whole situation.
Broussard also hinted that Howard wants to be the man on his own team, and not Kobe’s.
