Former NFL Quarterback Daunte Culpepper lost his South Florida Home to foreclosure. He purchased the house in 2006 for $3.6 million when he came to play for the Miami Dolphins.
Details according to the report from Brian Bandell of the South Florida Business Journal.
In April, the home was surrendered to SunTrust in a deed in lieu of foreclosure. It cited $3 million in debt released in exchange for the property.
SunTrust voluntarily dismissed the lawsuit on July 3 so at least it won’t be pursuing Culpepper for damages against his other assets. The court documents list his new address as a home in Weston.
During his career, Culpepper played for the Minnesota Vikings, Miami Dolphins, Oakland Raiders and Detroit Lions.
Amazing how one devastating knee injury can take a talent so promising and spin it out of control.
