This is all about forensics. Can they find any gunshot residue, any blood, any hair, any fibers or etc that links him to the victim.
The police don’t have a murder weapon, so they are going to try to link Hernandez as the shooter forensically and one of the ways to do that is through his clothing.
A white hooded sweatshirt and a baseball cap similar to items former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez was allegedly wearing the night an acquaintance was fatally shot have been recovered at a Franklin condominium he rented.
The clothing, along with the same caliber ammunition as the handgun used in the June 17 slaying of Odin Lloyd, was recovered according to search warrant records in Wrentham District Court.
Hernandez was allegedly seen on surveillance cameras wearing the items the night Lloyd was fatally shot, according to records.
Hernandez has pleaded not guilty, but slowly but surely the evidence is piling up against him.
