On Thursday a Lexington, Kentucky judge sentenced former Wildcats guard Michael Porter to 2 years in prison for having sex with an underage girl.
Porter was arrested last year after an investigation showed evidence that the then 22-year-old had sexual intercourse with a 14 and 15-year-old girl during church events where he was a group leader.
The ex-Kentucky guard was accused of six counts of third-degree sodomy and three counts of first-degree sexual abuse. He pleaded guilty in May.
Porter played for the Wildcats basketball team from 2006-2009 where he averaged 2.7 points per game.
