Floyd Mayweather Sr: ‘Broner Hasn’t Fought a Real Fighter’

Floyd Mayweather and Adrien Broner have made it known on many occasions that they would never square off in the ring, but Floyd, Sr thinks that that line of thinking won’t last forever.  In an interview with MLive, Mayweather, Sr said that Broner has faced a lot of stiffs and hasn’t had a real fighter in front of him.

“There can always be something there that makes you fight.  You say you ain’t gonna do this, you ain’t gonna do that. Let something go wrong. Let Broner say something wrong that Floyd don’t like…when he gets somebody real in front of him, he’s going to forget all about the roll. The roll won’t even be there, believe me. The roll won’t be there, none of that other stuff — picking off, catching, rolling — you won’t see none of that.”

Floyd, Jr has always been pretty patient and always willing to give advice to Broner, but going by Broner’s actions in the media, it’s not out of the question that he could say something to set off Floyd and toward the end of his deal with Showtime, actually square off with Broner in one of the biggest PPVs of all time.

Broner would have to stay undefeated of course and according to Floyd, Sr, fight better competition.
