This is the plan I’ve been preaching for months now.
Ian Rapoport is reporting that Michael Vick could receive interest in the open market as a stop gap quarterback for a few teams this offseason.
According to the report, Vick is more than open to returning to the Eagles as a backup to Nick Foles.
Mike Vick open to the idea of returning to Eagles as a backup, per @RapSheet. #NFLGameDay

Michael Vick could be a stop-gap starter for 2 or 3 teams. Open to returning to #Eagles as backup because he loves Philly, close with Foles

I think Vick should seriously consider the idea. He and Nick Foles have an amazing relationship, which eliminates any back biting.
Vick’s wife Kijafa Frink owns her own “PNK Elephant” boutique here in Philly as well.
Vick can make some good money as a backup for 4-5 more years, and possibly still play a lot because of the punishment Chip Kelly’s system puts on his quarterbacks.
