There seem to be a lot of these types of shows out there so why not combine the idea with one of the craziest things in sports: recruiting? That’s exactly what a group of basketball moms in Kentucky is looking to do. According to the New York Times:
Among the group is a mother with a son at Eastern High School who has changed schools three times out of basketball concerns, and at least one other Louisville mother.
“It is unclear if the project will appear on the screen any time soon, but the producer Blaine Hopkins called the mothers perfectly suited to reality TV, describing them as ‘hysterical, passionate, real and competitive.'”
If they are “hysterical, passionate, real and competitive” then I see no reason why this show wouldn’t get the green light. It seems like it’s just a matter of time before someone makes a show out of recruiting. The only problem is, you know there will be many exposed recruiting violations as a result.
