Teddy Bridgewater truly isn’t sure if he’s ready to leave the comforts of the Louisville for the NFL and the Houston Texans.
Last week reported that sources had confirmed that Bridgewater was leaning towards staying in school. According to Brett McMurphy of ESPN.com, Bridgewater didn’t refute any of the claims on Monday, and admitted that he was still undecided.
“I’ve been hearing all these stories that I’ve made a decision — I haven’t made a decision,” Bridgewater said. “I will talk to my mom and the coaches before making my decision. I’m not leaning either way.”
Bridgewater is the No. 1-rated quarterback prospect on several mock draft sites.
Bridgewater said he’s not leaning either way, but admitted he’s been paying close attention to the other quarterbacks that have decided to remain in school or declare early.
He said he hopes to make a decision within three or four days after the team’s December 28 bowl game against Miami.
