Joe Johnson has a new nickname, and I’m sure it will be no pressure at all for him to live up to it.
The Brooklyn Nets beat the Atlanta Hawks 91-86 on Monday, as Johnson dropped 23 points on his former team. After the game, Kevin Garnett unveiled a new nickname for Johnson to the media.
#BrooklynNets Kevin Garnett on JJohnson: "We call him Joe Jesus…he might not be there when you call him but he's there when you need him."

The nickname game is coming up, it’s not to late to adjust Johnson’s jersey number. Here’s hoping Joe Jesus can take the wheel and lead the Nets to the playoffs.
