Mizzou junior Zach Price was arrested early Thursday morning on suspicion of third-degree assault and third-degree domestic assault according to Kansas City Star.
Price, 20, was arrested at 2:31 a.m. about one hour after an incident in the area of Stadium Boulevard. He allegedly was involved in an altercation with a 23-year-old male roommate and a 23-year-old female, according to Columbia Police sergeant Joe Bernhard.
Price allegedly punched the male in the face and pushed the female to the ground when she tried to intervene. Both victims suffered minor injuries. Head coach Frank Haith said that Price was suspended immediately pending further investigation.
Price, a transfer from Louisville sat out this season due to NCAA transfer rules. He averaged 1.3 points and 1.4 rebounds during the Cardinals’ championship season.
