We won’t actually know the full results of the Northwestern union vote for quite sometime, if ever. However, reports have surfaced that it was overwhelmingly a “No” vote from the players:

This is not surprising to me at all considering the rhetoric coming from the school and Wildcats Head Coach Pat Fitzgerald. Also, the more you heard from players at Northwestern, the more you got the feeling that they just weren’t going to pull the trigger on this.
Hopefully all of this still enacts some real positive change for the players.
