This is interesting, but not at all surprising.
Bob Grotz of The Delaware County Daily Times reported Wednesday night that the Eagles made a trade offer almost two months ago to the Miami Dolphins for pass rusher Dion Jordan.
According to the report, the Eagles attempted to package a second-round draft pick and linebacker/defensive end Brandon Graham in exchange for Jordan.
Dion Jordan of course played for Chip Kelly at Oregon.
The Dolphins have made it clear that they have big plans for Jordan.
“We feel like with a full offseason, with more time devoted to his fundamentals, he will have a better grasp of the position that he’s playing,” Philbin said, per ESPN.com. “We do want to do a better job with the numbers and rotating in.”
