There has been a lot of talk about the players being ready to boycott if the punishment for Donald Sterling wasn’t strong enough. Now, the talk has shifted to what the players are prepared to do moving forward if Sterling isn’t forced to sell quickly.
Enter Charles Barkley. While he was on the Dan Patrick show earlier today, he had this to say about the possibility of Sterling owning the Clippers next year:
Charles Barkley on @dpshow: "No basketball is going to be played next year if Donald Sterling still owns the Clippers"

The threat of the players is boycotting is what will keep the league’s feet to the fire on moving away from Sterling. It remains to be seen if they are bluffing or not but it would be nice if everyone doesn’t just move on now like this is over.
