Roger Mason Jr. said LeBron would boycott if Sterling was still the owner of the Clippers by next season, then he started backpedaling like Deion in his prime, pun intended.
LeBron spoke on the issue directly and he is ok with everything for now.
LeBron James says the NBA is progressing “good enough for now” to remove banned Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling from his stake in the team, but that there needs to continue to be urgency in the process.
“At the end of the day, we see what Adam Silver is doing, and he’s moving forward,” James said before the Miami Heat‘s playoff game against the Brooklyn Nets. “And if he continues, which we believe Adam Silver will do on the situation, then us players have nothing to worry about.”
Curious what happens if next year rolls around and the owners still haven’t voted Sterling out. But, we will cross that bridge when we get to it.
