Sports has the power to uplift people in so many different ways, that’s a huge reason why so many are so obsessed with it.
That’s exactly the case with the gentleman above whose name is Devon Walker. Not all that long ago Walker was leaving out his dream, playing safety for the Tulane Green Wave when he lost all mobility on one play. Walker went to make a tackle on a player 100 lbs heavier than him in a game on September 8, 2012, and was rendered paralyzed because of it.
The former Tulane safety is now confined to wheelchair and has a ventilator attached to him, and yet he hadn’t given up to on his dream to make to the NFL. And guess what…
