First, understand the context of the quote. While talking to GQ, Kanye was asked about not being able to speak as freely on social media as he had in the past.
Here is what he had to say.

If you are having a hard time understanding what he means, you aren’t alone because it doesn’t make any sense what he actually said, but I think I got what he meant.
When you are at a certain level or in this case the LEBRON LEVEL which would be consider the highest of your profession, you have to be careful in how you conduct yourself on and offline, because it affects more than just you.
Granted that hasn’t stopped Kanye from doing and saying some questionable things, so maybe he just conveniently forgot about those times.
It is possible he meant something totally different, who knows with YE, I just hope the next CD is better than Yeezus.
