With all but one of their cast members leaving, ABC’s The View is looking to add fresh faces to team up with Whoopi Goldberg and returning Rosie O’Donald to discuss the world’s hottest topics.
Despite having no television experience, Radar Online is reporting that Tony Gonzalez’s wife, October, was selected as one of the two panelist to replace Sherri Shepard and Jenny McCarthy on the daytime staple. Also selected to sit alongside Goldberg and O’Donnell was political commentator Nicole Wallace.
ESPN’s Sage Steele and Jemele Hill were on ABC’s short list to join the cast and participated in “chemistry tests” yesterday to see if the role would suit them, but Gonzalez and Wallace made the cut.
