When Jon Jones suffered an injury a few weeks ago UFC fans were worried that UFC 178 would lack star power. I’d like to introduce those fans to Conor McGregor.
Although Demetrious Johnson headlined the PPV it was McGregor that stole the show and made himself one of the UFC’s largest stars.
Mighty Mouse isn’t one to be upstaged and in his main event title fight he finished off Chris Cariaso with a perfect kimora. The first time a championship fight has been decided by kimora in UFC history.
Those two fights were more than worth the price of admission and the PPV purchase. The other fights on the card rounded out the event nicely, with 4 out of 5 main card fights not reaching the judges.
