Notre Dame and Ohio State are two of the most prestigious programs in college football. Ironically, the two programs have only met five times, with the Buckeyes owning a 3-2 series lead.
Their last meeting came in the 2006 Tostitos Fiesta Bowl, where Ohio State came out on top 34-20. The last regular season meeting between the two was in 1996.
After nearly 20 years, the two programs have agreed to play again, but we’ll have to wait another eight years.
Like this: #NotreDame & #OhioState have agreed to a two-year series in 2022 & 2023.
